＜樋口久子IDC大塚家具レディス 初日＞◇29日◇武蔵丘ゴルフコース(6,561ヤード・パー72)
国内女子ツアー「樋口久子IDC大塚家具レディス」が埼玉県にある武蔵丘ゴルフコースで開幕。この日の前半は3バーディ・ノーボギーと逆転賞金女王へ向け好スタートを切った横峯さくらだったが、後半に入ると一変して失速。首位と3打差の1アンダー13位タイで初日を終えた。
悔やまれるのがバーディが欲しい16番パー5だ。ややつま先さがりのライからスプーンで放ったセカンドショットは左に大きく曲げて痛恨のOB。「痛かったです。あんなショットは試合で打ったことがないので、ビックリしました」と本人も認める数年に1度のミスショットだった。それでもこのホールを何とかボギーにおさえアンダーパーでホールアウト。「ボギーとダボじゃ違うと思うので、気持ち切りかえて明日頑張りたいです」と前を向いた。
今大会は賞金ランキング首位を走るアン・ソンジュ(韓国)が不在のため、約3,300万円ある差を詰める絶好のチャンス。週末は台風の接近の予想されるなど心配な要素も多いが、逆境をも吹き飛ばすチャージに期待がかかる。

埼玉県にある武蔵丘ゴルフコースで開催中の、国内女子ツアー「樋口久子IDC大塚家具レディス」の2日目は台風の接近に伴う悪天候で7時15分に第2ラウンドの中止を決定した。予選ラウンドは初日のみとなり、現時点で3オーバー64位タイ(77名)までの選手が日曜の決勝ラウンドに進むこととなった。36ホール短縮競技となったことで賞金ランキングへの加算は75％となる。

三重県にある近鉄賢島カンツリークラブで開催されている、日米女子ツアー共催「ミズノクラシック」の2日目。首位タイでスタートした申ジエ(韓国)が、スコアを6つ伸ばしトータル13アンダーで首位をキープした。2打差の2位は、この日8つスコアを伸ばしたステイシー・ルイス(米国)、3位タイには佐伯三貴とヤニ・ツェン(台湾)がつけた。

昨年大会で3位タイに入った松山英樹は1バーディ・4ボギー・1ダブルボギーとスコアを5つ落としトータル6オーバーでホールアウト。ホールアウト時点ではカットラインぎりぎりのところにおり、「(予選)通ればいろいろと試して、これから先のためにも1打1打、丁寧にやっていきたい」とコメント。昨年に続き決勝ラウンドが進出をはたし、胸を撫で下ろした。
一方、ディフェンディングチャンピオンの金庚泰(キム・キョンテ)(韓国)は、この日“78”と大乱調でまさかの予選落ち。「ショットもショートゲームも何もかも全部ダメだった。どうしてだかわからない。途中で意欲もなくなってしまった…。2日間で終わってしまい残念」と言葉少なに会場を後にした。

石川は前半で2つスコアを落として折り返すと後半も11番でボギーが先行。その後、13番でもスコアを落としてしまう。結局、バックナインではバーディを1つも奪えず、トータル6アンダーまでスコアを後退させた。

Oden returns as Heat best Pelicans, 108-95
NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- For Greg Oden and his Miami Heatteammates, four minutes on an NBA court in a preseason game was cause for celebration.
''It's been a long time and I've been wanting to get out there,'' Oden said after his preseason debut in Miami's 108-95 victory at New Orleans on Wednesday night. ''It was only a couple minutes, but it was what I needed, what I can handle right now and, you know, small baby steps.''
Oden is attempting to come back from knee injuries that have plagued him since he was drafted first overall out of Ohio State in 2007. The last time he played in an NBA game was on Dec. 5, 2009, for the Portland Trail Blazers.
Not long after he came in against the Pelicans, he scored his only points of the night on a dunk, which was also his only shot. He also grabbed a pair of defensive rebounds.
''It was a very special moment,'' LeBron James said of Oden's appearance. ''I have no idea what my feeling would be like, being away from the game for three years. It was like a proud moment, man. I was so excited for him when he got on the court and he checked in - and his first basket he gets a dunk. Can you write it any better? Obviously he's not where he wants to be, but the process is going great.
''I can just imagine how excited he was to get back out there,'' James continued. ''I'm going to have to take a toast for him, man. I ain't no drinker, but I might have to take a shot for him. It was an absolutely great moment.''

Miami is a team used to celebrating NBA championships after winning the past two. Oden was gratified to see how much it also meant to the Heat to see him show the first small sign of a successful return to the game he loves, and missed.
''In December it would be four years, so four minutes, that's enough for me,'' Oden said. ''As long as I got out there and I walked off and I'm healthy, that's all that matters.
''I know the guys were happy for me,'' Oden added. ''I definitely felt love. And I'm excited that they were there for me.''
Heat Coach Erik Spoelstra said Oden's face ''lit up'' when he told him he was going to put him in the game.
''We are just so pleased for him,'' Spoelstra said. ''It was just great to see him do something he loves to do. It was taken away from him for four years. We just continue to make patient, steady progress forward from here.''
James scored 27 points and Dwyane Wade added 25 for the Heat, who trailed after three quarters but opened the fourth with a 21-2 run.
Wade hit a 3 during the decisive surge, then stole the ball for a breakaway jam. Ray Allen did all his scoring with three straight 3s to make it 98-84.
Chris Bosh had 14 points and nine rebounds for Miami (5-2), and Chris Andersen added 13 points.
Eric Gordon scored 19 for New Orleans (6-1), while Anthony Davis had 18 points and eight rebounds. Anthony Morrow added 16 points, Jrue Holiday 12 and Ryan Anderson 10.

DERRICK ROSE (CHICAGO BULLS)
After missing last season while rehabilitating an ACL that was torn in the previous campaign, Rose returns with question marks over how quickly he can get back to his best. There are no question marks, however, over the 25-year-old guard's talent.
The NBA's Rookie of the Year in 2009 and Most Valuable Player in 2011, Rose quickly established himself as one of the league's most exciting point guards before his ACL injury. A thrilling sight when in full flow, the Bulls are not the only ones hoping to see a fully fit Rose thrive again.

BLAKE GRIFFIN (LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS)
An All-Star in each of his three NBA seasons, the former first overall draft pick noted for his spectacular dunks is a brilliant, athletic power forward who has been a large part of the Clippers rise in fortunes the past two seasons.
Griffin averaged 18 points per game along with 8.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists last season while helping the Clippers to a franchise-high 56-win regular season.
With a wide range of skills and superb physical ability, it will be fascinating to see how Griffin further develops under new Clippers coach Doc Rivers, a veteran who led the Boston Celtics to a pair of Eastern Conference championships and the 2008 NBA title.

ANDREI KIRILENKO (BROOKLYN NETS)
The veteran Russian forward took a massive pay cut when he opted out of his contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves to join the Nets during the offseason, bolstering a team that was already considered one of the best and deepest in the NBA.
The 32-year-old versatile forward has been to the playoffs six times and will be a massive boost to the Nets bench as he gives the team the luxury of keeping veterans and Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce from playing heavy minutes.
Kirilenko is a lockdown defender coming off a rejuvenating campaign in which he averaged 12.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game for the Minnesota Timberwolves, his best NBA season since 2005-06.

DWIGHT HOWARD (HOUSTON ROCKETS)
A messy departure from the Orlando Magic in 2012 followed by an unhappy stay with the Los Angeles Lakersmade Howard an easy target for boo-birds in many NBA arenas but he has a chance for a fresh start alongside James Harden in Houston.
Few can match Howard's defensive prowess. The 27-year-old led the league in rebounds for five consecutive seasons from 2005-06 and was named the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year for three straight seasons from 2008-09.
Howard, however, does have his critics given his sub-par free-throw shooting while some question his smartness on the court. But his arrival in Houston has turned the Rockets into a Western Conference contender.

DWYANE WADE (MIAMI HEAT)
Perhaps the biggest question mark facing the Miami Heat's chances of winning a third consecutive NBA championship is the state of Wade's knees, which have been an issue throughout the guard's career, dating back to college.
Wade, 31, enjoys solid numbers during the regular season but has been hampered during the playoffs the last two years, most notably in 2013 when he averaged just 15.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game during Miami's title run.
The Heat will need everything they can get from Wade if they are to become the first team to capture three consecutive NBA championships since the Los Angeles Lakers in 2002.
